VarCamp is free for everyone who joins. WorkAdventure has given the event its venue since VarCamp 2025, and communities host its rooms.
About WorkAdventure
The platform VarCamp happens in.
WorkAdventure is an open-source virtual office and metaverse platform, built for virtual events, remote job dating and digital classrooms. Inside it, people meet the way they would in a real room: they walk around, start a conversation and join a talk.
What it brings
What a WorkAdventure world adds to an online event.
Immersive experience
Attendees explore the VarCamp world, run into each other and start a conversation on the spot.
Seamless collaboration
Talks, workshops and breakout discussions run on tools WorkAdventure connects to, such as Jitsi and BigBlueButton.
Community building
A playful world that invites chance encounters, the way a hallway does at an in-person event.
Why we partnered
Same idea of what an event should be.
WorkAdventure shares VarCamp's aim: learning, sharing and networking that are fun, inclusive, and impactful
. With it, VarCamp goes further than a usual online event.
